Time!

I have never truly experienced time, nor has anyone else. What is time? Time is actually changes! Time as we say can be said as present, future and past. Before going to the future and past let's us consider present. Time is a concept, a construct of the mind. But what we actually experience is change, and that change always happens in the present. It's like watching a movie which moves in a certain frames per second. Human eye can see things at 60FPS so in case we're watching a movie at 60FPS then that 1/60th part of the one second of that movie is the present. It's still, without any changes going on which practically doesn't exist. It's that state when even the smallest atoms stops their movement. That's present! All our experiences till now are rooted in the present. In fact if we consider time as changes than we have have only ever felt the absence of time, not time itself. Every experience is of change, occurring in the present. From this change, we kind of create or fabricate the concept of time, which maybe just an illusion. If change were absent, what would remain of time? Without change, the notions of past and future would dissolve.

What we call the past is merely the residue of experience, and what we call the future is pure imagination. The present is fleeting, almost insubstantial; this is a universal experience.

The so-called past is experienced in the present and kept in our memory, as is our imagination of the future which is merely a calculated  prediction based on our memory, a guess that what occurred before might reoccur. Without memory, there would be no foundation for imagination.

How do we recognize change? We claim to perceive it by comparing the present experience with our memories. Without memory, change cannot be identified. This process, too, unfolds in the present. Time does not exist within change; it exists only in our perception.

In that case memory is essential for recognizing change. Without memory, how can we differ the present with the past to recognize change? Memory is a function of the intellect, part of the mind's processes. Without it, there would be no dreams, no thoughts. The intellect helps us perceive change, yet it, too, operates solely in the present.

If we consider intellect and memory are illusions, then the concept of time, built upon them, is equally illusory. Time is a construct born of memory and imagination, but neither exists independently. Change is observed in the present and does not necessitate time.

Upon deep analysis, it becomes evident that time does not exist independently. A clock does not measure time; it measures change. Similarly, day and night, seasons, and calendars are markers of change, not time itself.

A child looking at a clock doesn't understand time but only sees the movement of the hands. It is we who teach them that these movements signify the passage of time. The concept of time is implanted in our minds by society, yet it remains a mental construct. Society provides knowledge, but this knowledge is limited and subjective. It conditions us to view time as an essential component of existence. However, time is merely a tool for survival and continuity within society. Celebrations, birthdays, and historical records are all rooted in this illusion of time.

True knowledge stems from direct experience, not societal conditioning or imagination. The belief that the past is real and the future inevitable is a deeply ingrained misconception. In truth, only the present exists, eternal and unchanging.

History, too, is subjective. It is shaped by those with the power to dictate events, often at the cost of countless lives. History is just another dream, constructed from memory. Can we truly know what happened in the past? We rely on others' accounts and written records, but how can we verify their truth?

Similarly, the future is pure speculation. It does not exist and cannot be known. What we call the future is shaped by our current mindsets and inclinations, but it is merely a projection of imagination.

This understanding leads to a profound realization: time, as we know it, is an illusion. It is a dreamlike construct, a web spun from memory and imagination. When we awaken from this dream, we see that we are not bound by time. We are infinite, eternal, beyond time's grasp. The past and future are like ripples on the surface of water. Without the water, the ripples cannot exist. Similarly, without change, time has no substance. I am like the water, constant and infinite, while time is like the transient ripples.

With this realization, we break free from the bondage of time. We understand that we are not fleeting beings trapped within time; rather, we are the infinite existence itself. This profound truth liberates us from suffering. Time, memory, and change are illusions, their hold weakening as we awaken to our true nature. We are the eternal presence, beyond the illusion of time. This realization is not merely intellectual but experiential. When we perceive the truth, the illusion of time dissolves, leaving only the infinite, eternal self.
